John Deere ??????

Re: John Deere ??????
I think it´s John Deere maybe 6700? self-propelled sprayer
without tank and booms. :-)

Re: John Deere ??????
A contractor from my area has(had?) a machine that looked
kinda like this. It was also in JD-color but that doesn´t
mean much because he has everything in JD color(to fit his
forager wich has equal sized front and rear wheels what I
have never seen anywhere else). Anyhow he had a corn
planter fitted between the axles of that machine. He also
has a lot of other unconventional machinery.

Re: John Deere ??????
After reading your'e replies I'm guessing its a multiple use
row-crop tractor. I think spraing is the main use because it
seems like there should be a tank of some kind on the back
side...

Re: John Deere ??????
This is a John Deere self-propelled sprayer with out the
booms. That is all it is used for. Sprayers like this are
popular in the US due to the ability to cover more ground in
less time. Not to mention a lot smoother due to the
suspension. Now farmers are moving away from these to the
new higher clearance wider treaded models with more
capacity. :-)

Re: John Deere ??????
Latest JD sprayer as posted previously.
Not sure of the model number, but the picture above is
definitely an older model JD sprayer.

Re: John Deere ??????
This is an older (mid-late 90's) JD row crop sprayer. The
model is a 6500. it has a belly mounted (400 gal or so)
tank. This on is minus the booms (normally 60 ft). They made
two versions of this sprayer. A narrow front (single wheel)
and wide front, as pictured. The wide from gave it a little
more stability. They still make this sprayer in an updated
6700 version, and also the high clearance 4710 and 4920.
Check out www.deere.com or www.nitrosprayer.com. These are
some of the high clearance sprayers that are run in our area
of Nebraska, USA.
