Re: new tires on 8280
Hi Michel,

Nice tractor!! Nice tires. How old is the tractor? I did
not know that the front 3pt was available here in Canada ?
Does it have a front PTO too? Do you have anymore pics of
this or your other tractors?

Thanks,

Will

Re: new tires on 8280
William Bos, sounds dutch, I'm from holland to and live in
southern alberta now. The tractor is one year old, and we
just put these tires on. The 3 point is a Zuidberg, from
holland and it does have a pto (1000 rpm) We mainly use the
front 3-point and pto for my powerhiller, during planting
time, as you can see on this picture. Here we still have our
46 inch tires on it. You can clearly see the difference! I
also have a lot of pictures of our equipment on the MF
catagory on this site. So you can check "members albums" in
your taskbar and then scroll to my name, and you can see all
my pics! So where do u live?

Re: new tires on 8280
Hi Michel,

Great Guess!! My Dad is from Groningen. My Oma and Opa
migrated to Canada in 1957. I was born here. Where in
Holland are you from? I live in South Central Ontario, 45
minutes north of Toronto, on a small hobby farm. WHat do
you farm? Did you demo that 7400 over in Holland? Nice
Tractor. How was the Dyna VT?

Take care!!

Will

Michael..

Great potato-planter. Is it for lift or a pull-type?

4 or 6 rows... How much do you have with potatos?

Re: new tires on 8280
We grow potatoes (200 ha.) and corn for silage (70 ha) and
barley for combining (70 ha) We only have equipment for
potatoes and we use the neighbours equipment for the grain.
Corn is custom planted and harvested. The planter is a 4
row, and it's a 2 point hitch type, so only the bottom 2
links are used. I grew up in North-Limburg, SE part of
holland. The 7400 MF series are awesome, and they will sell
good here in Alberta for sure, because they are a lot easier
to operate than the Fendts that they sell here. I at least
really liked it. And for this Italian spagetti eating "ken
tutty (frutty)" prick that wants my tires to burst, go screw
yourself, and use your brains if you want to say something
on this site, because what you said here does not make any
sense at all! Also, I've never seen anything good coming out
of Italy except Ferrari's. All the other guys, thanks for
your reaction.....

Re: new tires on 8280
Hi Michel,

You are a busy guy, If i am ever in alberta on vacation, I
would gladly come by and give you a hand. Also, If you goto
the record MF Pic that were just posted, this guy claims he
plowed 1,000 acres in 24 hours with a 3 furrow plow? Yeah
right, the MF did 622 acres in 24 hours, with 17 furrows
total!! Must be all the spaghetti or something!!

See you

Re: new tires on 8280
Yes the dutch are twats and further more they sould go back
to school and redo geography as the flag is not Italian but
I do have the good looks of the italians. By the way yes I
did plough a 1000acres in one day and further more it was
done in 200 5acre feilds. and I had a five minute tea break
on the hour every hour with a 3hour lunch to change the
points and shares. so there :-D

Re: new tires on 8280
Hi All,

Ok Ken, enough of your crap!! Either you throw that plow on
the back of that tractor, call Guinness, and set something
up to back up all the BS you have been tossing around on
here, or SHUT UP untill you have something intelligent to
say, with some credibility behind it, or everyone Will
eventually ignore you!!

I hope everyone feels the same way I do!!

See you

Will

Re: new tires on 8280
Hey Will there is no need for what you have said this ken
might be ok. It might just have been a typo error where he
meant 100 instead of 1000 acres which means he might be a
hard worker.

Re: new tires on 8280
If you look at it, really, we all plowed a 1000 acres in a
day....IN OUR DREAMS!!!! This Ken guy really starts to anoy
me, screwing up my posts here, with intelligent replies from
you guys, but we all know what goes around in his
head.....($%#$@!@##$) And yes I'm sorry I totally forgot
about Fiat, later on Fiatagri, my old man used to own a 215,
250, 350, 415, 580dt, 880dt, 780 and a 1180dt, and later a
80-90dt and a 180-90dt and except for the 80-90dt, I would
buy a tractor like those today if they would still build
them, that 4 cylinder in those tractors would NEVER give up.
He was pulling a 4 bottom Krone plow, doing 1 ha an hour
with an 880dt, just out of control I tell ya....

Re: new tires on 8280
Pick it up for da 110-90 Rens and michel. Best tractor ever
made. Nothing beats Iveco power. And If you put a turbo on
the 110-90 shes the dog dangles. Sorry for screwing up your
posts but I didn't relise you had a bit of sense about real
tractors i.e Fiats
P.S You can still get the 110-90s Just not in the U.K or
Ireland. I'd say you can get them in canada but the only
[problem is the jobshits at NEWHOLLAND have painted them
Blue. ;-)

Re: new tires on 8280
Be careful at velocity( front axle / Rear axle speed), your
tractor seems to be nose down

Re: new tires on 8280
The dealer figured that all out, and on this picture it
looks indeed like it is sitting nose down, but it is because
the left-front wheel is sitting in a hole....Thanks for
letting me know though....
