Huge TG285
This TG285 has been sitting at Great Lakes New Holland in St
Marys, Ontario, Canada for about 6 weeks.

Front tires are 600s and on the back it has dual 710s

The long bar axles are not long enough, so extensions are
used

Re: Huge TG285
Man that's a beautifull tractor. They also have a CR960
kicking around there. I've only seen it on the lot once.
Must be in the shop the rest of the time. Not saying it's
broke just must keep it in there the rest of the time.
What's your story? Where ya from where ya work. That sort of
thing. I'm from the Ingersoll Area. Contact me if ya want to
talk more about farming and the area.

Take care,

Nathan

Re: Huge TG285
ah finally some good tires on a tractor at a dealership...
you always see the big tractors with the 20.8 or 18.4
radials...way to narrow in my opnion, but this looks good!
this is the way all the big tractors should be...
so you know of what make the tires are? we run all Michelin
tires on our tractors, in our eyes the best tire around...

oh i'm from the Dresden area....and yes attend Ridgetown
College :-D

Re: Huge TG285
I live on a dairy farm in the Exeter/st Marys.

Those tires are Michelin tires. We bought a TM140 from that
dealership and had them put 20.8 michelin tires on it, but
we got it in november so it hasn`t seen the field yet. 400
Hours of mixing feed doesn`t show the performance of the
tires. :-P

We have Firestone tires on our 2 John Deeres, I`m not sure I
like them... Now we can compare, maybe put the firestone
tires on the duals which are prety worn and new michelins on
the 7710, I`ll have to see...

The only problem I see with tires that wide is that you`d
have to use an onland plow, but for everything else I do
think these tractors should come with tires of that size.

You can check my member album for pictures of the 7710 and
the TM140.

Re: Huge TG285
Why did you buy New Holland for if you had JD's
far better tractors. You must be tight with your money.
