Hi Brian,
Jd 4430 was a great machine!
what kind of problem has this one? clutch? gearbox, or
simply some oil loss?
We have also a 1974 hfwd Jd 4430 with a lot of hours on the
counter: it's still well run but it is also very used-up.

Is that a SG2-cabin or is it homemade?

Hi Bjarne,
this cab is not a SG2, because tractor was sale only with
the safety roll-bar with the roof. So we added an handmade
frame with the doors and the front glass.
As you can see, 4430 had fight in many battles, but it is
also ready to work hard: a rock like this will be never
built!

yeah i think the reason why that tractor is in the shop for
is to replace the clutch.....
