here is a picture of our old GMC pickup truck. this truck is
one solid piece of iron. we never had such a good truck as
this one.
Re: 1980 GMC 1500

I totally agree with you there!! Here is a pic of my 1986
K15 4x4!! Its got a 305, TH700R4 automatic, and autolocking
hubs with 220,000 km's on it ( 138,000 miles ) And it has
never let me down. Its also got no muffler, just a cat and
straight pipe , which gives it a nice rumble, and will less
back pressure, it goes a little better too!! GMC ALL THE
WAY!! :-D

And here is a pic of my dad's 1988 GMC 1500 (2wd) with
410,000 kms ( 257,000 miles ) on it. It has a 305 and
TH700R4 automatic and also has never let us down!! GMC ALL

See you

Re: 1980 GMC 1500
yeah that gmc pickup of mine has 225,000km with a 305 in it
and it was on its orginal motor and transmission. we had to
replace the box and doors on it once before b/c it used to
haul pigs. also it pulled alot of gravity boxes and it
always got filled up with baged seed during planting season.
but other then that it was a perfect farm truck.
Re: 1980 GMC 1500

Both our trucks get used for hualing hay ( 8 foot squares )
, carrots, scrap metal, and just about anything else that
needs to be hauled. On the '86, we put inner & outer front
fenders, doors, cab corners, and a southern rust free box.
Mechanically it was, and still is A1, just need to replace
the front leaf springs, they are gettin' a little tired!!
Ón the '88, we did front fenders, cab corners, rockers, and
a box. Both trucks will get heavily rust checked, because
the previous owners did not do this!!

Talk to you soon!!
