Zetor 5748
Hi,
I have recently bought this Zetor 5748 tractor. it needs 3
new panes of glass + seals, 2 2nd hand or new front
headlights and possibly a pair of standard rear wheels.
Can anyone tell me more about the 5748 please?
I bought this one from a Lincolnshire/Norfolk farm where it
was used to pull out the irrigation gun.
Are the rear pans Zetor? I think the row crops are "Bevanti"
or something like it.
Many Thanks
Best Regards
Chris Lockwood

Re: Zetor 5748
Nice paint work Chris ;-), the rear wheels look like geniune
zetor wheels with the fresh paint.

When shifting the high and low lever, be sure to use the
foot clutch to engage. This lever can easily get knocked
unwittingly from high into Neutral or even Low with your
feet. Hope you get it sorted :-)

Re: Zetor 5748
Sometimes you have to release the clutch a bit to move the
teeth of the gears into each other, when they are not
aligned.:-)

Chris, when you buy the 3pt buccket, i hope your rear wheels
survive !! the home made wheel flanges dont look like they
are able to hold 1500 kg in the bucket...:-\
