Re: Deutz Agrolux 60
About 10 years ago the Deutz brand was bought by SAME who is
also a share holder from AGCO. This type of Deutz is a
little simpler and cheaper as the Agrotron series and built
by SAME in Treviglio near Milano/Italy. He differs mainly
because of his air cooled Deutz enginge form the comparable
Same, Lamborgini und Hürliman varitys. The ALÖ loader comes
from Sweden and is one of the leading European manufacturers
in this segment

Re: Deutz Agrolux 60
Only one point SAME as DEUTZ or HURLIMANN or LAMBORGHINI
aren't part of the big AGCO, all this brand are a big
company: SDF Same Deutz Fahr, property of a rich italian
family, in instance is Same that bought all the other
brands...

Deutz was a very well famed germany make, their aircooled
motors were very good, I still have one of the in a DX 6.05
of 105HP very happy with it, low consumption, very few
maintenance, a good motor... With the Same era in Deutz some
things go wrong others go better and now is a good brand, is
the star of the group SDF, it has all the new features like
a cvt tractor the TVT...

If the price is good go for the Deutz good and simple
tractor...

Re: Deutz Agrolux 60
Hi,

Which model MF is bought from SAME!! Nothing wrong with
AGCO, nothing at all!! I hope it is still mostly Deutz
technology in this, because a framer friend of ours had 2
SAME'S, and from his experiences, I would stat away from
one.

Hopefully this is better!!

Re: Deutz Agrolux 60
Hi,

This tractor only has 600 hours on it, so I gues you could
say it is not broke in yet. Thats one thing I like, is
something nice and simple, dont need any fancy electronics,
not at all!!

See you

Re: Deutz Agrolux 60
I think the interweaving of companys is inscrutable. For
example, this MF types are produced by SAME:
http://www.farmphoto.com/photography/message.asp?mid=47106

The reputation of SAME here in Germany is not comparable
with Fendt and John Deere. On the other side this comany of
the Carotza family has bought in the past every 10 years a
tractor brand. And they not only manufacute the gear box
like Fendt. They produce the whole tractor and sell 30.000 a
year. So I think this company can´t have bad tractors. I
think it is like everywhere. When you buy a very reasonable
product the envious say that you will have many problems and
when you had hear this often enough, you believe this. But
the others don´t tell that they have also problems, because
a premium brand has no problems.

It´s like with my Mercedes A-type: the logest distance you
can drive is from one shop to the other, but a Mercedes
makes no troubles and why is Toyota the most reliable in the
statistics?
