South Georgia farmland
I have started this section at the request of Gregg Ward
from Australia who emailed me and said he'd like to see a
section where he could look specifically at farming
operations from around the world.

This series of pictures is a 360 degree sweep from a 50m
radio tower on a farm in south Georgia. This farmland is
pretty representative of farms here. It's gently rolling
land (old sea floor) with relatively small and irregularly
shaped fields often bordered by low lying wooded areas.
There are lots of pine trees (planted and natural growth
both).

Much of this land is owned by Southeast Ag Research (
http://www.seagr.com/ ) who are helping me with some
wireless networking research.

Photos taken in April 2004.
