Couger I
I took this photo today 8/4/02. I think this is a very well
kept Steiger!! For the age of this one, it looks great!! I
put it up as soon as I got home!! I hope you all enjoy it!!
More on the way!!

Re: Couger I
I did not even step on any Beans!! Honest, I swear!!

Re: Couger I
Just another view!!

Re: Couger I
From the other side. I was shotting into the sun. That is
why it has a white background. Still O.K. I think!!

Re: Couger I
Nice pictures, where were they taken? Keep'em comin.
Re: Couger I
I was out and about late Sunday. I was going over to retake
some JD 7520 photos that did not come out to well. I saw
the Steiger sitting next to the barn on the way there. I
hated to bother anyone on Sunday but decided to just take a
few pics. The owner was really nice and let me go to the
back of his property to take the pics!! The Farm was just
off of RT 34 in NW OHIO, U.S.A. We have a LOT of 4WD
tractors around here!! There are a lot of mid sized farms
that still use the older 4WDs and a few large farms that use
the new ones!! We had two Steiger dealers and a Versatile
dealer all in about 40 miles. So there are a few around!!
I know of another Couger series I but it is in really bad
shape. It is more rust than anything. That is why I really
wanted pics of this one!! Thanks!!

Re: Couger I
One question what is a mid size farm for you?

An a large one?

Re: Couger I
In my area of North-West, OHIO a mid sized farm is around
1,000 to 1,500 acres. A large farm in in the 2,000 to 4,000
acre range. We have a couple of 4,000+ farms around here,
but most are 1,200 size. We have a lot of farmers around
here that own 20 to 80 acres. Most are rented out to the
larger farmers. My Grandpa owns 80 and my dad owns 40.
Both farms are rented out to a farmer near by. He farms
2,200 acres and owns 120 of those. Rents the rest. Fields
here are 90 acres or less. I know of only a hand full that
are bigger than that!! Every square mile has at least 6-7
homes in it. Some times as many as 20 or more!! Plus a lot
of woods and fence rows!! It is not as open as it is out
West!!! I hope this awnsers your question!! Thanks Agian!!
