Wide frame spanner
I took this shot on a recent visit to Auburn University, AL,
USA. It is of a wide frame "spanner" gantry type tractor
system developed here. All hydraulic. Very expensive and
didn't work out. It was designed to reduce compaction and
was used on plot work for a number of years. Now languishing
in storage.

Pictured a re Dr. Paul Mask, Auburn Univ. and Dr. Rob Kelly,
Queensland Dept. of Primary Industries.
