Hercules and Tuck
This photo was taken today, June 13, 2004 at our small tank
on the farm. Our son brought his pets out to the farm so
they can run and get excerise, the dogs are not related to
each other, but Tuck (the puppy) stays next to Hercules and
trys to keep up. They are just about inseparable.

The dogs love playing in the water and it is hard to get
them to stop. :-)

Re: Hercules and Tuck
This photo is of the dogs running around the edge of the
tank, we were lucky enough to get a good rain on June 9th,
over 6 inches at the house, and some areas of the county got
10 inches in about a 8 hour time frame, this cause the tank
to overfill and water came around the damn area and filled
the uncultivated area around the tank.

Re: Hercules and Tuck
Now our own dog, some sort of mixed breed, doesn't like
the water and we literally had to throw her in to get her in
it. My husband would throw her in and she would turn around
and come right back out and not really swim, so I told him
to wait until I got to the other side of the tank, and he
could throw her in, he bet me that the dog would turn
around and come out and run on the bank but I said she would
take the shortest distance. I won the bet, He threw her in,
I called her and the story is in this collage that I made
of that day in May 2003, which hangs above my computer desk.
Brownie was so tired out, I had to help her get up on the
back of the tail gate. :-D
