Re: Waterloo Boy
Can you explain what is the region II options, is a region
of the States that use the same type of tractor and John
Deere has yet a pack of options for this zone?

Heavy Duty axles have more diameter?

Good job with your new 7720...

Re: Waterloo Boy
Hi Pardo,

Good question. Actually I don't know what exactly the Region
II is. I suppose the european countries are included in this
export zone. I do know that in some countries of this region
(not in France) you can have, as an option and only on the
7720, a regular MFWD (10 bolts-MFWD of the 7010 series
instead of a 12 bolts-MFWD approved for duals) with a 92mm
rear axle and a 10000 lbs 3-point hitch (7010 series).
Here in Europe you need high-capacity hitches to carry heavy
fully-mounted implements. In Europe, all 7820s and 7920s are
heavy duty (MFWD, rear axle and hitch). The 7720 and 7820
have got the 6.8L engine. The 7920 has the 8.1L. All models
have deluxe Cab (mirrors, sun visor..), pivoting front
fenders.

Bye,

Greenguy

PS : another pic ;-)

Re: Waterloo Boy
Everything you listed is available in North America, just
not as much is standard.

And the North American 7820 has the 8.1L engine.

Re: Waterloo Boy
I know.
The only things we don't have are those lovely indicators in
the roof. But I am making some modifications...
If I wanted a bigger engine I would have waited for the new
9L 4-valves coming soon.

Re: Waterloo Boy
You can get a tractor looking like the last one in the
states, just need to get the right options. There is no
difference between tractors in Canada and the USA.

Re: Waterloo Boy
Hi everybody,

It's the same tractor (european version). I have just
ordered the orange corner lights, cut the roof and put them
on.

Bye,

Greenguy.
