A week into October and still combines in the fields although this Dominator 68s is parked.

Grain harvest on October 8 - a JD 2000-series combine and a Case IH Maxxum in front of 2 trailers.

I like the ladder on the Dominator for the wide tyres :) Our harvest is much the same at the moment, it was looking like one of our best for a long time but now we are just glad to get it off the ground.

I hear they have run out of Claas windsheild wiper blades here in NZ :-D

not in Southland Mate ! going by the number of dust clouds I saw today I'd almost be prepaired too bet Southland's headers will be back in storage before yours !

Hope things improve for you guys soon. It has turned very autumn like here, cooled right off. I wouldnt like to be trying to get any combinable crops harvested & into storage over here at present.

It's a farmers worst nightmare to not be able to harvest the crop, and it's even worse if the crops looks really good! I hope that you down under gets some decent wheather so you can finish harvest soon!

@4CROPS; I haven't seen the ladder before, knowing that farmer is quite old and not the smallest man in the world I really hope he don't need to stop in the middle of the field, or maybe he take his ladder with him? Indeed funny!

Nice morning in mid October - cattle still grazing at the big mixed herd beside the road between our farms.

October 13 - frost on the cutted grass, this was the second morning with frost, the first was October 9th.

the way things are going it should be all done in a week or so,no grain dryers going as far as I can tell there was also a Claas Mega 204 working on Peas in the next paddock down from this one

A John Deere with a unigue cultivator made in Denmark called "Kvick-Up". It has a PTO-driven rotor rake after the tines that aims to pull weeds up to the surface. It's special design for organic cropping as an alternative to Glyphosphate.

Neighbours had this beet carting trailer the last parts of the beet harvest period, it's a Edenhall E25 cage on a Metsjö MetaQ 75 chassi, here towed by a JD 7810. With this trailer in the field and normal trailers on the road they avoided a lot of dirt on the roads.

A bigger Deutz with a Samson PG25 slurry tanker on grasslands one of the last allowed days for manure spreading, after October 31 we are not allowed to spread manure on the fields.
